The itinerary that was made for us to include all of the areas that we wanted to visit was excellent, you did a great job in fitting a lot into a 3 week period....... There was no one stand out highlight of our trip as we enjoyed every place we visited and they were all individually exciting and quite different. If we had to pick one it would be a toss up between Easter Island and Machu Picchu. Thank you for all of the organization that went into our trip, we did not have to worry about any aspect other than to turn up at the allotted time and someone would look after every detail for us.
Many Thanks

After a morning pick up from your hotel in Uyuni (not included), you will have a short visit to the train graveyard, which is essentially an open air junkyard but very interesting and a unique experience. After this visit you will drive to Colchani, formed from a small community of families dedicated to extracting salt. Then after an eighty kilometer drive across this great white desert we will reach the surreal Isla Pescado (fish island). You can climb to the top of the island for a 360 degree view of a huge expanse of hexagonal white salt tiles and in the distance the Thunupa volcano. The view is amazing and you will use alot of your camera memory today!
After lunch you continue South, guided only by the ring of mountains, until you arrive in the small town of San Juan where you will spend the night in simple and basic accommodation.

After breakfast you will continue to drive in your jeep towards the south to visit the Eduardo Avaroa National Park, one of the most isolated regions of Bolivia, therefore one of the most isolated areas in the world!, with its lagoons, volcanoes and extreme geography. Later we will arrive at the beautiful Laguna Colorada, a red lake heavy with mineral deposits on its shores. The red coloured lake is a lovely sight and is an ideal habitat for the pink flamingo. The night will be spent in basic and simple hostels.
An early start today for the drive to Sol de Mañana at 4850 meters over the sea level, the highest point of our trip where a geyser bursts upwards producing sulfurous air.
Continuing past high mountains you arrive at some natural hot springs into which you may jump and enjoy a breakfast. Later you will continue the drive to Laguna Verde, in this magical lagoon the wind stirs up minerals and the sun makes the lake change to a green shade. We also visit the Dali Valley en route where there are surreal rock formations (see below).
