Portillo.

Ski Portillo is Chile´s oldest and most famous ski lodge, as well as being the only one to host the Ski World Cup in South America. It is located 148kms from Santiago and is situated on the same road that leads to Mendoza, Argentina and crosses the Andes Valley. Portillo is set against the magnificent Andean peaks, in front of the Del Inca Lagoon which is characterized by dust-snow in winter and spring. The area is characterized by its unique and traditional approach where there are no towns, shopping areas or high-priced tickets but just a relaxed and warm atmosphere where guests are made to feel like part of the family.

Valle Nevado.

Valle Nevado is a centre which holds three hotels (Valle Nevado Ski Hotel, Puerto del Sol and Tres Puntas Hotel) and has the lodging capacity for 800 people. It is also the biggest ski resort in the southern hemisphere and its variety of restaurants offer vacationers a selection of different cuisines and styles on their menus. There are also multi-day packages and week-long packages on offer depending on the season.
