The itinerary that was made for us to include all of the areas that we wanted to visit was excellent, you did a great job in fitting a lot into a 3 week period....... There was no one stand out highlight of our trip as we enjoyed every place we visited and they were all individually exciting and quite different. If we had to pick one it would be a toss up between Easter Island and Machu Picchu. Thank you for all of the organization that went into our trip, we did not have to worry about any aspect other than to turn up at the allotted time and someone would look after every detail for us.
Many Thanks

After arriving in Santiago you will be met and driven 2 hours to Chile´s premier wine valley, the Colchagua valley, located 185 km south of Santiago. If you are staying over the night before in Santiago you could choose one of our favorite places to stay or ask us for extra advice on options.
The Colchagua Valley district´s capital, Santa Cruz, is well-known for maintaining the old customs brought to the area by the Spanish and one can view the impressive colonial architecture while strolling through the long corridor houses. You will spend the night here at either a winery or hotel, depending on your personal preference. We can recommend the Casa Silva or La Playa Vineyards.

Today you will take the ¨Ruta del Vino¨ to experience first-hand the wine culture that Chile is famous for. You will visit two vineyards and sample some of the valley´s award-winning wines over a tasty lunch prepared at the vineyard. After lunch you will make your way to the Museo de Colchagua which houses an impressive collection of artifacts and pre-Columbian objects. You will then spend the night in the Colchagua valley again.

DAY 3 - The Maipo Valley.
After breakfast we will start making our way back towards Santiago. Along the way we will stop at one of the most famous and traditional wine valleys in the region: The Maipo Valley. The area is surrounded by beautiful mountains and boasts one of the best climates in Chile. The night will be spent at the exclusive Casa Real, on the esteemed Santa Rita Estates or similar (depending on your budget and preferences) Over an excellent dinner you can enjoy some first-rate wine tasting.
DAY 4 - Leave the Vineyards and head back to Santiago.
Enjoy the morning on the estate after breakfast before heading back to Santiago to catch flight transfers home or to another destination on your vacation with us.
If you choose to stay in Santiago before going home or onto another of our tours we can recommend a number of hotels which you can see by clicking here.
